Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards are open exclusively to organisations and individuals who are current members of Norfolk Constructing Excellence at the time of entry submission.

1.2 All award entries must be submitted by, or on behalf of, a current Norfolk Constructing Excellence member.

1.3 Projects submitted must have been completed within the last 24 months and must demonstrate a clear connection to Norfolk.

1.4 Norfolk Constructing Excellence reserves the right to verify membership status and eligibility for all submissions.

2. Award Categories

2.1 Entries must be submitted under one of the following categories:

  • Building Project of the Year
  • Sustainability & Innovation
  • Delivering Value
  • G4C Future Leader
  • Residential Project of the Year
  • Infrastructure & Public Realm
  • People & Culture
  • Regeneration & Retrofit
  • Client of the Year

2.2 The judges reserve the right to move entries to a different category if they believe it is more appropriate.

3. Entry Requirements

3.1 Entries must be submitted using the official entry form for the relevant category, available to download from the Norfolk Constructing Excellence website.

3.2 All entries must be received by the published deadline. Late submissions may not be accepted.

3.3 Multiple entries may be submitted by the same organisation, including entries across multiple categories.

3.4 By submitting an entry, entrants confirm that:

  • The information provided is accurate and truthful.
  • They have obtained permission from relevant project partners, organisations, or individuals referenced in the submission.
  • They have the right to submit any supporting materials including images, data, or case studies.

4. Judging Process

4.1 All entries will be assessed by an independent panel of judges appointed by Norfolk Constructing Excellence.

4.2 The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

5. Shortlisting and Awards

5.1 Winners will be announced at the Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards ceremony.

5.2 Judges reserve the right not to present an award in a category if the required standard is not met.

6. Attendance at the Awards Ceremony

6.1 Attendance at the Norfolk Constructing Excellence Awards ceremony is restricted to current members of Norfolk Constructing Excellence.

6.2 Tickets must be purchased in advance where applicable.

6.3 Norfolk Constructing Excellence reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings for individuals or organisations who are not members.

7. Publicity and Promotion

7.1 By entering the awards, entrants grant Norfolk Constructing Excellence permission to use submitted information, project descriptions, images, and logos for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes related to the awards.

7.2 Entrants may also be featured in award-related press releases, social media content, or website content.

8. Photography and Media

8.1 Photography and videography may take place during the awards ceremony.

8.2 By attending the event, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use by Norfolk Constructing Excellence.

9. General

9.1 Norfolk Constructing Excellence reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions where necessary.

9.2 Norfolk Constructing Excellence reserves the right to withdraw or amend any category if required.

9.3 Submission of an entry constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
